In a constantly evolving global context, the defence industry is taking on an increasingly strategic role, with a focus on collaboration among the European Union member states and the NATO allies.

Industrial expertise, technological innovations, the role of SMEs, and venture capital are the topics for discussion of the event “Italian Defence Industry Day. Building the defence of the future: Institutional, Industrial and Technological Cooperation in Europe”, which aims to foster dialogue and networking between the defence industries with a view to building a comprehensive European defence within the context of the Atlantic Alliance.

Two days of discussions in Brussels – on 10 December at The Square and on 11 December at the NATO Headquarters – focused on shared strategies and opportunities for collaboration with the European Union and NATO in the field of security and defence.
